What Now: Connect

FAM Fellowship

The Fine Arts Ministry Fellowship is a Christ-centered community of artists. This Artist Fellowship for adults will cultivate creativity, strengthen your faith and provide opportunities to use your creative gifts for the glory of God. You are encouraged to bring a sample of your artwork monthly to share with the group so we can all enjoy and learn from each other’s creativity.  The emphasis during the “Show n’ Tell” time is A&E (Appreciation and Encouragement).

If you have any interest in the visual arts, whether as an artist, craftsperson, photographer, graphic artist, etc., or you are someone who is an art lover, a collector, someone who wants to know more about art and artists, or someone who is thinking about learning how to make art, whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or experienced artist, a hobbyist, or a professional, you’re more than welcome – please join us.

Sunday Services Online

**During the COVID-19 season, watch our Sunday Services online at 9AM or 10:45AM.**

Missed last week? Or want to share with a friend? Find the weekly messages here.

Family Community Church began in 1983 in Bill Buchholz’s living room with the vision of being a family where everyone is someone special.  Over the last two decades, our doors have been open to people of all ages and background, and our goal remains clear:  to be a place where people can bring their questions, problems, and hurts and, in time, become fully devoted followers of Jesus.  To achieve this goal, we provide a variety of services throughout the week for adults, children, and youth.  Come find your place in our family!

Using cutting edge multi-media, contemporary music, and a message that connects with people’s lives, Scripture is presented in a straight-forward and relevant manner.  If you’ve never attended church or if it’s been a while since you and God had a heart-to-heart, you may be surprised at how meaningful these services can be for you.  We look forward to seeing you on Sunday morning!

Be sure to check out video of our Sunday Morning Services!

Hope After Suicide Loss

Meets Wednesdays

If your life has been affected by the suicide of someone you care for, you are welcome to attend this compassionate, confidential, and non-judgmental face-to-face support group. This group is open to anyone who has lost someone to suicide, regardless of who the person is or the length of time it has been since your loss. There are no dues or mandatory meetings, you don’t have to speak if you’re not ready, and there is no pressure of any kind. We meet you where you are with understanding and compassion, as we all understand the pain a suicide loss brings to a person or family. There is hope and there is help, and this group understands and is here for you! This group is open, which means that new members may join at any time.

DivorceCare Group

Meets Thursdays

You don’t have to go through it alone.  Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced.  It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have questions about issues you’ve never faced before.

DivorceCare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life.  Each DivorceCare Week has two distinct elements:

  • A Seminar with ExpertsDuring the first 30 – 40 minutes of the meeting, the group watches a video seminar featuring top experts on divorce and recovery subjects.
  • A Support Group with Focus – After viewing the video, you will spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in your lives.

Register below to join a DivorceCare group. Cost = $15/person (includes a workbook).

5th & 6th graders

We understand that the tween years can be a difficult time of peer pressure, discovering who you are and growing up. Area56 helps students navigate through these years with confidence in who God says we are, while preparing them for the next step of development into their teenage years and youth ministry.

We use five core values – Discover, Grow, Connect, Serve and Worship – to point them to the gospel, challenge them to dig deep into the Word and train them to be leaders in the church …. and have a ton of fun together in the process! Come join us on Sunday mornings!

Women’s Conference 2020

Friday, August 14th @ 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm AND
Saturday, August 15th @ 9:00 am – 1:30 pm

We’re excited to be announcing our 4th Lovely Conference. The theme of our conference in 2020 is ‘Adorned’ and it comes out of Isaiah 61:10; how our God adorns us with jewels. We are a part of a royal priesthood and we want to take value and walk in that.

This year our guest speaker is the lovely Jo Saxton! Jo is an author, speaker, podcast host and leadership coach. She has dedicated her career to growing leadership teams around the world to find their purpose in their personal lives and in leadership. Born in London to parents who immigrated from Nigeria, Jo credits her parents unrelenting work ethic to the bold tenacious approach she takes to sharing her wisdom on identity, influence, and living an authentic life. She is characterized by her effervescent honesty and warm approachability, leaving audiences with practical next steps in areas that are usually a bit ambiguous.

Come join us for awesome worship and a great time of connecting with other women and with God. Invite a sister this year and let’s be astonished by what God is going to do!

Cost = $79 if register by August 13, 2020
