FCC’s Lighting Ministry enhances the weekend services and special events through the use of creative lighting. The week before a new sermon series, we come to the Main Auditorium, typically on a Wednesday night at 6:30PM (email Mackenzie for details) to focus and move lights, change gels, and implement a lighting design.
We also program and operate the light board during weekend services. Lights are programmed for worship, dramas, special presentations, etc. No experience is necessary. We’ll train you! Come on back to the Lighting Board in the back of the Main Auditorium after any service, or email Mackenzie to find out the next night/morning we’ll be working. Let your light shine!
Creative elements of our services (such as music, drama, and dances) are made possible by this hard working and talented team. The Stage Crew serve behind the scenes to move props and arrange the stage in a creative fashion. We also direct the speakers, worship team, and actors by giving cues backstage.
This is a great place to jump into serving and become a part of the backstage action. There’s never a dull moment. No experience is necessary!

These teams are essential in producing services that enhance that message of God without distracting those in the audience. Our Weekend Services Production team is made up of energetic, talented people who love to be behind-the-scenes serving God!
The volunteers on this team sit right in the Main Auditorium during services and operate a video camera to bring the service to life on the huge screens and TVs throughout the campus. Team members also help with the CCU (Camera Control Unit) for each camera. Come backstage to our Media Control Room after a service and meet Mike Jones and our team. Like what you see? Come tour the Control Room and watch the team direct a service LIVE! If you like what you see, we’ll train you to join the team! No experience is necessary. This is a fun, hands-on ministry.
